VerticalNet Storefront
VerticalNet was also the first web company to seriously promote the revolutionary “Storefront” concept. Acting like a display window to it's products, these mini-sites and their products/services would all be available through industry searches within their respective industry portal. Single shopping carts could be utilized even when shopping at multiple Storefronts.

RFQ
Request For Quotation is the most basic form of communication between buyer and seller. Because of this, every effort was made to make its usage as simple and easy as possible. More than just a smart eMail, RFQ offers much of the functionality of an auction. Because of this, the Cordiem engine linked the RFQ's of buyers and sellers into their alerts driven Dashboards and Workbenches, enabling them to deal with multiple replies on a variety of requests.
